Gone fishin'....

This is what Lee and I did during Kate's nap today.

We made some water, some fish, an octopus and some starfish. We then put paperclips on everything and went fishing...with cranes, as you do. I didn't have any spare little magnets around to make fishing rods out of, so I figured Lee's two Cranky Cranes would like to do a spot of fishing.

Apparently they both enjoyed it!

I feel so behind on blogging. I've got bags, poems, tags, knitting, pay it forwards, and probably other things I'll remember later, all of which are yet to be blogged. Just feeling a bit swamped at the moment. But I'll get to it all. I will. Really...

Hi Bec

What a delightful day you have had. It brings back memories of my childhood when my brother and I used to do something similar, albeit a little more adventurous. Instead of fishing, we looked through a primitive view finder (or bomb sight) while standing up in our bare feet and released a dart ("bomb") onto a target on the floor, just missing our feet. Well, it was during the war - not telling you which one - and child safety was not an issue, obviously!

Fishing from a crane is so much more sensible.

Regards

Robyn

What a lovely time for you and Lee.

As for feeling overwhelmed, I can understand how that can easily happen with blogging. Remember, people enjoy your posts for their merits... and yours have many!

You blog to express yourself, and that should happen naturally, at its own pace, not driven by a need to keep up in the cyber current. (I say this only because I have recently gone through my own stress about blogging!)

I love your posts, and whether I read a new one every few days, or once a week, I'm equally satisfied.

xx

I love it! So much fun!

Thanks for the post on our new blog! I edited your comment to hide your email addy...

RE: shipping to Aust., if you want to place an order, I can bill you for additional shipping. For one issue, it's usually about $2 more to Aust. For all the issues, the cap on shipping is $9.

I added you to our blogroll, too! Nice to meet you! I like your blog!

This game is inspired! I love your posts about the crafty things you do with your kids.

I just bought the Klutz book on Hand Art coz you blogged it. I'm keeping it as a "secret weapon" to bring out when we go camping next week, in case it rains.

Your blog is awesome and a great read. Don't feel under too much pressure to blog everything, Everyone will be here to read it when you're ready!

Okay, I'm REALLY enjoying your blog. I think we are kindred spirits. :) My personal blog is http://www.xanga.com/yardenxanthe - not as much crafty fun as yours at the moment, but hopefully we'll get back up to speed as my 4 month old grows...
